This is a story about Happy Steve. Happy Steve is always very happy. One day (this day happened to be Happy Steve's birthday), a strange man walked up to Happy Steve with a knife and pointed it at him, and so Happy Steve smiled and reached for his wallet. The man put on a confused look, took the wallet, and dropped the knife in excitement upon seeing the wallet's contents. The knife lodged itself in Happy Steve's shoe, right in between his big toe and second toe. Happy Steve's smile widened; he'd been a little bit itchy there, and the knife had made his sock move just right to scratch it. Happy Steve lifted his foot to continue merrily on his way home, causing the knife to fall with an adorable ting-a-ling sound that matched Happy Steve's mood perfectly.
Random Note: I was planning to add more to this, but I got lazy. Additional thanks to Mr. Blenderlid for adding some detail to this bare bones story.
Edit: I have revised this story in order to be more faithful to the life of Mr. Happy Steve.
